Gabrielle Bisset ~ Destiny Redeemed ~ Review

Looking for a good Paranormal Romance?
Destiny Redeemed
Book 2 in the Destined Ones series

Sentenced to spend the rest of his three remaining lifetimes in Nil, Amon Kalins is freed with the help of his Sidhe servant, Gethen, but now he must accept his life is never to be his again as the Council won't rest until he's safely back imprisoned within Nil's cold walls. Broken and nearly dead from his time in prison, Amon is saved by an Aeveren healer named Althea Forester. As a healer, Thea has served her people for forty-five lifetimes, never having a destined one and always knowing each lifetime would ultimately end with her alone. But destiny hasn't forgotten her.

Drawn to the seductive Amon, Thea quickly becomes a pawn the Council uses to trap him. Taken prisoner by the sadistic leader of the rebel group, the Soren, Thea must survive the vicious world of the people hell-bent on taking her destined one away forever, and Amon must risk everything dear to him to free her from those who would sacrifice her to claim the bigger prize and return him to Nil.

Destiny Redeemed

Review ~

I adored Destiny Redeemed—the second installment in Gabrielle Bisset’s Destined Ones series—falling in love with the characters was effortless in this great paced book.  I found myself now rooting for Amon Kalins whereas I wanted to strangle him in book #1, Stolen Destiny!
Jump on board in this journey of an Aevern named Amon Kalins whose despicable acts in the past have landed him in Nil, a prison, where he is doomed to live out a meager existence for his remaining three lifetimes.  With the determination of his faithful friends—Gethen and Markku—he is able to escape Nil but not without the need of a healer for his race.  Even though Thea Forester was abducted to heal Amon Kalin’s injuries, on first meeting him she did what she has spent lifetimes doing—she begins to heal him—without the knowledge of the order put out by the Council denying him such treatment from all Aeveren healers.  It doesn’t take long for them to realize they are destined for each other, but how can this possibly work with a ruthless bounty hunter hot on their trail?  Double-crossing actions from a member of the Council and the Soren leader, one-time ally turned foe, don’t make things any easier.  Will Thea finally have what she has wanted throughout all her lifetimes, what she thought impossible due to the nature of her gift of healing, one destined to be hers?  Will Amon’s past no longer prevent him from having another destined for him?  Will they be able to jump hurdles, avoid roadblocks and escape the bloodhounds in relentless pursuit?
Ms. Bisset was cleverly able to turn me from an Amon-hater to an Amon-lover!

  1. Thanks for the lovely review! It's incredibly high praise to hear that a character you worked so hard to redeem is now loved by a reader. :)
