Hoppy Easter Blog Hop

Who needs the Easter Bunny, when you got a blog hop :)

This weekend I'm participating in the Hoppy Easter Blog Hop . I was going to do a specific book give away but there are so may great new ones out and coming out over the next week or two I figured I'd let you choose yourself  by awarding one lucky commenter a  $10 Amazon gift card. Now how do you win... it easy just tell me what you are planning to do this Easter.

Do you do an egg hunt for the kids? Do you make up Easter baskets?
Do you wear your ears? Do you do a family get together?

This year for me it's kinda crazy Sunday I have to get ready to leave for RT, but luckily the kids are all old enough I no longer make baskets but now I  get them their new bathing suits and a big chocolate bunny. Except for the 14 yr old, I was searching the internet and I came across these PJ's and yep I got a pair :) She's gonna love em. I think I want a pair too- lol

  2. Our girls are special needs and very much home bodies (which they get honestly from both of us, lol). So we tend to focus on inside activities. The girls are enjoying their new dvds and we will have some of our favorite foods this weekend to celebrate!

  3. Both my children have autism, so any holiday revolves around their needs and routines.

What a great way to discover new authors/blogs and visit with old friends. Everybody wins this way!
My husband is frying a turkey breast and I am making the rest of the meal after church, since it's just the 2 of us.

  10. This year my boyfriend and I will once again be going to dinner at a local Chinese restaurant. It started gosh 4 years ago and its the one tradition we were able to keep when we moved to Minnesota last year from Colorado.

  14. We used to get up early and go to church, but the past few years we have skipped it. The kids get up and find their baskets and then we go to my mom's house for dinner.

  15. Well I'm hounded by my youngest to color eggs and then for me to hide them. ( I really hate hiding them ;( ) The kids get a basket a small gift. We'll then have a Ham dinner.

Oh right I have to make sure I wake up when they do and not fall back to sleep. Cause if I do their going to eat all their candy for breakfast. ;)

  16. Happy Easter weekend to you and thank you for the giveaway. Our family usually has a big lunch followed by an Easter Egg hunt for all the kids. It's usually a lot of fun, the kids really enjoy it and we love watching them hunt for the eggs. We use plastic ones that have candy and money in them.

  22. Easter is a big time for our family to get together. We do egg hunts, eat lots of food, and have our annual 4 square competition. Beware....It has been known to get down and dirty. A few people have come away with black eyes.
