Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm still fairly new to this and I love it. I love to review authors I know and "new to me" authors as well. I'm avid reader of romance of any kind with Erotic, Paranormal, Contemporary, and YA being my preference.
On my blog I do a Tuesday post a "Must Haves" of all the books I want and think you might as well. On Wednesday, one of my favorite days of the week, I post a "Wowza Wednesday" and this is a treat for the eyes. The rest of the week we post reviews, interviews, jokes, and contests. I usually follow blogs that have tons of giveaways, lots of SUBSTANTIAL reviews, and a friendly author ;) The site needs to be easy on the eyes and convenient to navigate too of course, but those are all secondary.
ReplyDeleteI follow blogs that review the types of books I enjoy, that do lots of interactive posts such as giveaways or discussions, has a good dynamic with how it looks and the style of writing in the posts and the relationship between the posters (if multiple), and I'll be honest I'll follow if it's a really smutty blog lol.

I like blogs that aren't too cluttered, with clear headings so I don't have to hunt through everything to find what I want. I like to be introduced to new authors in the genres that I like and I also like to read about authors that I love.

ReplyDeleteWhat makes me want to follow a blog is the blog-authors voice. If they write like they speak, and not formal and facts, I'm interested. The personal side of these sites is what I like. Its a big plus if we have the same interests in books :)

LOL I am a very visual person so I opt to follow blogs that appeal to me thru colors, style, and also ease of use!! Plus I look for content as in if the books reviewed appeal to me and if the pictures on the blog appeal to me as well as their TBR pile. A blog has to focus on erotic romance or erotic paranormal romance, provide great reviews on these books and provide great discussions along with lots of naughty pictures.

I am intrigued by many things, but foremost it is book reviews in genres that I enjoy. I like when the reviews are not written to bash or shock, but just to tell me what the reviewer thought of the book.

What intrigues me enough to follow a blog is good reviews and great variety of genres , because i like finding new authors and books series on blogs its where i usually find all my new fave authors :) I also like a blog that interacts with its followers and yeah who doesn't love a giveaway :D it also helps with getting peoples opinion on books i've never reda or just seeing what others think of books i like :) A blog i'd follow all in all has good variety is interactive non judgmental on authors or books and had great reviews :) Thanks for the giveaway :)

The reviews for books in the genres that I like to read are the main reason why I follow a blog. I especially appreciate blogs where the reviews are honest without being mean. The giveaways don't hurt either and the man candy on the site helps too! I have found several authors I wouldn't have otherwise because of the reviews.
