sexy dad, especially when that dad turns out to be the Dean of Students.
A little daring perseverance shows him that the Dean doesn’t seem so
unapproachable. So since when did getting in the Dean’s pants suddenly
become a quest to win his heart?
Review~
I am a huge fan of m/m stories and of author Mia Watts. I
loved reading her latest book, Doing the Dean where she created lovable
characters that captured my attention right from the beginning. I really
enjoyed the relationship between Griffin and Julian and watching as they
struggled to begin and maintain a "forbidden" relationship and the
ramifications if they were discovered. They are two consenting adults but their
position at Claybourne College makes dating in public rather difficult. Griffin
is a graduate student as well as a RA and best friend to Julian's son, Tony
while Julian is the Dean of Students. I really enjoyed the interaction and
friendship between Griffin and Tony. Their conversations and banter were so
much fun and had me smiling throughout the book. I could so picture their
scenes in my head as I was reading. I thought it was sweet of Tony trying to
set up his dad and best friend, knowing they took an instant liking to each
other and hoping the two people he loved most could have a future together.
Tony has a great, loving relationship with his dad and it showed in his actions
in this story. It's always heart-warming to see the love between father and son
prominently portrayed. Julian and Griffin had amazing chemistry together and
the sex was so hot that I could not get enough! I rooted for them to work
things out when their relationship was accidentally discovered during a weak
moment and lapse in judgment on both their parts. Tough decision had to be made
by one of them and would the sacrifice made be worth it in the end? I'm so glad
this is just the beginning of a new series and I'm looking forward to the next
book in the near future.
