 Review: High Noon by Kris Norris

I am a huge fan of author Kris Norris because her stories and writing style always makes me feel as if I'm watching an action adventure movie, my favorite kind. High Noon, book 2 of Between the Veils series did not disappoint me with its fast pace storytelling, ghost hunting and super hot sex scenes.

Payton Scott is being haunted by a ghost so she calls her ex-boyfriend Avery Smtih, a paranormal investigator for help. However, she gets Blake Smith, his younger brother and tech guru, who had a secret crush on her in the past. Blake rushes to her side just in time to rescue her from the ghost that wants to claim her.

 The chemistry between them was undeniable whenever they were together and it was so sexy how loving and protective Blake was in trying to keep Payton safe. He had me swooning when he declared only a catastrophic apocalypse would separate them *sigh* What woman could resist that?

 I liked that Payton was a strong heroine and wanted to be by his side while he fought to vanquish the ghost. I loved them together and the sex was smokin' hot! I really enjoyed this story and I'm looking forward to reading the next one in this series.
