Lissa Matthews ~ Twisted Up Contest

WOO HOO!! It's Lissa Matthews again! I love it when Lissa comes and visits, it's always fun. I mean I do like cowboys - hot, sweaty men in tight jeans, can use rope in a many ways, know how ride, and are aware of how to handle a woman with their rough hands *shivers*

Tomorrow Lissa Mathews book Twisted Up comes out in print, I do love my print books. While this isn't Lissa's first book it is her first single author print book. So since Lissa is so excited about this she decided to do a book tour and share the glee with us all and do a contest!

I have read this book and absolutely loved it and recommend it So go forth and pick it up! Get ready to  "break out your bunny slippers and cowboy hat and get ready for a seriously hot read!"

Talking about Toys

Let's talk dirty. Are y'all okay with that? Of course you are. That was a pretty dumb question on my part, huh? Though I'm sure there are a few who'd rather not talk openly about toys and sex and how much you like them...together or separate...or don't.

Me? I love them. No reason being shy or bashful about admitting it. I absolutely love them. Plugs, vibes, bullets, clamps. Okay, well, clamps not so much. But the point is, toys are fun. They can bring incredible pleasure. And if you're a gal who is primarily responsible for your own...

Justin and Ella in Twisted Up indulge in a little toy play both together and separate. He uses a Hitachi wand along with ropes to bring Ella to the brink several times over, reducing her to a puddle, and making it near impossible for her to do more than crawl across the floor because every muscle in her body is so weak from the pleasure.

It's a way to increase the intimacy. A way to try something new, to push your lover a little further along the delight rail. Have you tried toys? Alone or with a partner?

Twisted UpOne rope. Three days. And two hearts on the line.

Justin has had enough. Ella, the woman who healed his broken heart, has been cancelling on him for two months straight. Sure, she’s busy with her job, which has her traveling far and wide. But that never stopped her from sharing nights of trivia, long conversations and blazing hot sex—until now. Truth to tell, he misses their easy friendship, the way her sighs fill his ear as he fills her body.

What he can’t figure out is, what’s changed?

At work, Ella finds it easy to talk to rooms full of strangers. Once back at her lonely apartment, though, she’s back to her painfully shy self—until Justin. Their chance meeting grew over the months into a year-long affair, but she can’t shake the feeling that rejection and pain are just around the corner. Best thing to do? End it now, before their intimacy digs too deep.

Suddenly he’s at her door with a length of neon-green rope and a naughty proposition, daring her to say no. Just how good could it be? There’s only one way to find out…

Warning: The sheets are tangled, the hat is crumpled, and the jeans are worn low on the hips. The cowboy is hot, determined, and helpless in the face of bunny slippers. Readers may need extra batteries to get this one out of their system.

There are 8 stops on this blog tour, the final one being my own blog. One commentor from each stop on the tour will be chosen for presents and giveaways. There will be everything from signed copies of books to a signed black and white poster to rope and coffee bowls.

  1. Hi Lissa. Congrats on your first single author print book! How exciting! Toys are always fun. They're what nightstand drawers are for! LOL!

  2. We keep our toys in a locked tool box in the closet just so I don't have to explain what mommy's toys are to small children LOL! Carin

  4. I think everyone should have at least a couple of toys! Definitely kept away from where children can find them. That would not be a fun thing to try to explain/gloss over with a child.
    Congrats on your print release!!

  5. Congrats on the print book. Toys are fun together or alone. That's what the nightstand next to the bed is for.

  8. I like to find toys that are "multipurpose" (eg. spatula/spanking toy). You'd be surprised what can be re-purposed.

  10. Becki, finding multi-use toys is very fun. Grins...

Y'all are fabulous. I agree that the toys should be pur away and not visible and front and center. Mine are in a large Cinderella tote bag :-)

  12. With kids toys must be kept more discreetly hidden then in the night stand drawers. Geez I could just imagine my youngest daughters questions and my teenagers comments. Yeah...rather not go there!

  13. Love toys solo or with the hubby. He prefers he's there. And most of mine are in a cardboard box under my bed.
