Ophelia London ~ Speaking of Love ~ Contest

Today we have Ophelia London with us!!

Hello and Thank you for stopping by Day Dreaming Book reviews! We always love it when we have visitors and even more so when they let us ask them questions *rubs hands together*

Thank you for having me and I’m so happy to be here. Please be gentle with me! *grins*

Now let's start out with an easy one...

In Speaking of Love you write about opposites attract. I'm a magnet girl, I mean I love them and I'm always trying to make them stick together but they won't! So what is it about that troupe that made you want to write it?

I like to think of characters as puzzle pieces, especially the really complicated characters—they have lots of ridges and weird-shaped edges. So it’s a fun challenge to fit one character together with another, until their perfect puzzle is complete.

This is book two in your "Perfect Kisses" series... What do you consider the perfect kiss?

Oh, my. Great question. I love spontaneous kisses. It’s fun to be swooped up and taken by surprise. Even if it’s by someone you’ve been kissing for 10 years, if he suddenly pulls you around a corner and runs his fingers through your hair before a kiss, that’s magical!

Describe your book to me Twitter Style 140 characters or less.

Only after successful matchmaker Mackenzie sets up sexy rich-boy-Rick with another woman, does she realize he is her perfect match. #swoon

************************************************************************

Speech teacher and successful matchmaker Mackenzie Simms decides to find a woman for her friend, handsome newspaper tycoon Rick Duffy. Though they’ve been each other’s go-to dates for the past month, Mac and Rick couldn't be more different: she is outspoken, sarcastic, and completely loathes his privileged lifestyle. He's laid-back, unassuming, and seems comfortable at an upper-class charity function. So why can't she stop thinking about him?

Rick knows he and the opinionated-though-adorable Mackenzie are better off as friends, so he agrees to the double-date getaway Mac plans at his family cabin. But seeing Mac cuddle up with her “friendly” date rankles Rick beyond reason, and Mac regrets her matchmaking scheme the minute she sees the way her beauty-queen cousin looks at Rick. Can Mac 'fess up to what's really in her heart, when speaking her mind puts everything at risk?

Now for some fun ones:

Give me your best pick up line, either from a character, one you have heard or one you have used.

In the story I’m working on now, I have a guy say “Impressive mode of escape” to the main character. I know, it doesn’t sound very sexy out of context, but it’s sexy when he says it.

What's on you ipod?

My music taste is pretty diverse and confusing. I have everything from rap to opera. My favorites right now are Sara Bareilles, The Beatles and Justin Timberlake.

Your guiltiest indulgence?

We got a Trader Joe’s a few months ago. I’ve been addicted to their dark-chocolate-cover…everything! Every time I shop there—which is too often—I try to pick up a new treat to sample. Right now, #1 is Sea salt and butterscotch covered in dark chocolate. It’s divine.

What's your favorite word?

I tend to say “crap” a lot.  But lately, maybe because of the Entangled Publishing imprint that I write for, I also love to say “bliss.”

Thank you so much for stopping by and playing with us. Please come back again we love finding out those little fun things about authors and ALWAYS love hearing about new books!

Thanks so much for having me. It was a blast sharing these little things with you! Speaking of Love is out now, and don’t forget to check out my first print book ABBY ROAD releasing March 26th. It’s pretty blissful too!
