"He never saw love coming...until it crashed into him. "

Brooke Lowry has a mission: fly to Tahiti, pluck PR nightmare Dylan Schell out of whatever party he's in, bring him home and clean up his image.

It was her idea for Jackson Cole clothing company to sponsor the pro surfer. But the chances of saving this deal-and her career-look pretty slim when she finds the sexy party boy "shooting the curl" with two beach bunnies.

Dylan is finally getting back on track, and the next big event would put him over the top...if it wasn't being held in San Amaro, where he'd be forced to watch his best friends Matt and Corey tie the knot and move on without him.

He'll do anything to keep that from happening, including taking shameless advantage of a tropical cyclone-three days cut off from civilization-to distract the lovely Brooke into his bed.

Despite her moment or three of weakness, Brooke won't be deterred. And suddenly Dylan finds himself facing a lot of things-his hometown, his past, and something he didn't see coming. Love.

Warning: Check it, dude, this book contains a bad boy surfer who gets slammed by fierce waves but gets back up, a buttoned-up woman who learns to chillax, and some righteous shreddin' the gnarl.

Review ~

I just want to start off by saying I have LOVED all the books I've read by author Kelly Jamieson but her newest release, Slammed, is my favorite from the San Amaro Singles series and even her other books. The story and characters captured my attention right from the beginning and I could not wait to see what would happen next, especially since Dylan was such an unpredictable hero except when it came to sex. LOL!

I became totally smitten with Dylan who appeared in No Strings Attached, the first book in this series. Dylan was suffering so much pain after his surfing accident and then was left odd-man out after engaging in a threesome with his best friend, Matt and Corey. You couldn't help but "feel" for him and what he was going through. I could not wait to read his own story and the woman who would tame this sexy "bad" boy and capture his heart!

I adored Brooke who was strong, kind and could handle Dylan no matter what he "dished" out. I really enjoyed her first meeting with Dylan when she caught him in bed with two girls and I have to give "kudos" to her on how well she handled that awkward situation. I was chuckling throughout that scene because it was so much fun to read. It just got better and better as the story unfolded.

Kelly did an amazing job developing the relationship between Dylan and Brooke and their chemistry was "out of this world". OMG! The sex scenes were scorching HOT *fans self* and I could not get enough! Lucky for me, they were both insatiable. LOL! I enjoyed watching them fall in love and seeing the emotional connection they had beyond the sex.

It was great to see Matt and Corey again and see their close friendship with Dylan despite what happened in the past. I enjoyed their interaction with Brooke as well and waited with bated breath to see what would happen when Brooke found out the truth. She handled it with class and as much grace as possible and it was quite refreshing to see. Of course, being the romantic I am, I hoped she would forgive Dylan quickly since I loved them together.

I have to thank Kelly for writing such an awesome story and saving the best for last (though I hear there might be a possibility for more *crossing fingers*). This was SO worth the wait and I would definitely recommend this to romance readers. It can be read as a stand-alone but so much better if No Strings Attached is read first. I hope everyone enjoys this book as much as I did :)
