Leah Braemel~Sweet, Sexy, Scorching Blog Hop~Week 2

 Untitled-42

It's Week 2 in the Sweet, Sexy, Scorching Giveaway Hop and we are starting the week off with another I can't seem to get enough of, Leah Braemel.

UntitledHidden Heat
Book 4 in the Hauberk Protection series

Be careful what you don’t wish for. Fate might snatch it away.
When handling Hauberk’s managers, efficiency is Sandy Hallquist’s watchword. In her personal life? Excitement all the way, baby. That’s why she escaped Minnesota—and her marriage-minded mother—for a job with one of the hottest bodyguard companies on the eastern seaboard. What more could she ask for than to be surrounded by all that alpha-male testosterone?
Invisibility is Troy’s stock in trade, the only way he can manage Hauberk’s international offices while answering the call of his other career: assassin. Nothing about him is real, not even his name.
In one moment of weakness, he allowed Sandy a glimpse behind his carefully crafted mask. The more he’s around her, the sharper his yearning for stability. A home. Love. Pity those are the last things she’s looking for. And revealing that she’s the one true thing in his life could be the very words that drive her away.
At the first whisper of the “L” word, Sandy’s first instinct is to hit the brakes. By the time Sandy admits to herself that Troy is more than a passing fancy, though, his next mission could take the decision out of her hands.

Product Warnings: This book contains sexcapades in secret clubs, voyeurism, a touch of bondage and risqué office shenanigans.

ABOUT LEAH BRAEMEL ~

Disappointed to discover other worlds did not exist in the back of her parents’ cupboard, seven year old Leah grabbed pencil and paper and lost herself in her own magical realms. By the time she was in her thirties, juggling teaching full time with caring for her husband and two sons, those worlds had been shoved into a closet, abandoned.

But those strange creatures she’d created grew restless. Late one night they slipped from their purgatorial cupboard and crept to Leah’s bedside where they whispered in her ear. Whispered of worlds without ‘Belch the Alphabet’ contests. Of worlds without alarm clocks and bosses and marathon marking sessions. And most tempting of all, of worlds without housework.

And always, they whispered of love and steamy romance.

Unable to ignore their whispers any longer, Leah once more put pen to paper – eventually trading them in for her trusty laptop — and unlocked the portal to her imagination.

  3. I love Leah Braemel's writing style and the Hauberk books are exciting and romantic with an edge of mystery. While some erotic books are blah-blah-sex scene-blah-blah and repeat, Leah's stories have solid plots and terrific characters. She is an excellent writer and these are really good books!
