Do you like your men bad or good? How about a reformed bad boy? Today we have author Courtney Cole's Pax Tate with us and he is a very bad, yummy boy - reformed. 

1. Name and which book you’re from. Are you good or bad?

Pax Tate.  My book is If You Stay.  I’m what you might call… bad.  I’m fairly reformed now, but once upon a time, I was the baddest of them all.

2. It’s Valentine’s Day. What kind of night do you have planned for your lady friend?

It will involve a rubber sheet, paint and wine.  A lot of wine.  Well, first we’ll have a nice candlelit dinner.  That’s a given. And then the paint and wine.  Her knees will be weak afterward.  I can promise that.

3.  If you could wield cupids bow and arrow, who would you shoot and why?

F*ck that.  I don’t need cupid’s arrow.  My girl already wants to be with me.  God knows why, but she does.  I don’t need a chubby kid with a bow and arrow to snag someone for me.  I can do it myself.  I’m not a pussy. 

4. Whisper sweet nothings in my ear telling me what you will do to me on Valentine's.

I don’t usually do sweet.  Well, lately that isn’t true, not with Mila.  Although, she does like dirty talk, surprisingly.  So, if you were Mila… I might do something like this…. 

At our fancy Valentine’s dinner, when I am on my way back from the restroom, I would bend and whisper into your ear.  “Babe, drink more wine.  I want to watch your lips get wet  and picture them pursed around my dick.”  Then I would calmly take my seat and periodically throughout dinner, I would casually mention how your tits look lovely this evening and how I can’t wait to suck on them.  Or how I can’t wait to have your legs wrapped around me.  

And then I would slide my chair over to yours and I would use my fingers on you underneath the tablecloth.  And then right in the middle of the restaurant, I would whisper in your ear that I want you to come on my fingers. 

Mila’s a freak.  She likes this stuff.  And that’s hot as hell.  

5. While us ladies love to be wined, dined, and *clears throat* loved on Valentine's... What is it you men want most on Valentine's?

Valentine’s Day is just a day.  I’ll do something sweet for Mila because I know she’ll like it.   But like any other day, I’ll be happy with whatever Mila and I end up doing.. in the bedroom and out.  Mila does have a new set of handcuffs that she’d like to try.  That sounds hot as f*ck.  I think maybe we’ll try that this Valentine’s Day.  I might also involve paint.  You know how that girl loves to paint…

7. What do you look for in a woman?

I love a sense of humor and expressive eyes.  Obviously, I like a nice rack too (any man who says he doesn’t is either lying or gay).  I also like long legs and a gorgeous smile.  And I like a freak in the sack.

All.  Preferably all at once.  Haha.  Okay, that was in my previous life.  I’ve reformed.  Now I prefer a brunette.  One particular brunette.  

Boxer’s or Briefs?
Boxer Briefs.  

Chocolate, Strawberry  or Vanilla?
Cherry.  You know why. 

Soft and Sweet or Up Against the Wall? 
Up against the wall. And a talented guy can do soft, sweet AND up against the wall.  And I am.  Talented.  

Rain or Snow?
 Rain. There’s nothing sexier than having sex while watching a storm blow in over Lake Michigan.  Or having sex on the beach in the storm.  That’s sexy as hell.  

Cabin or Beach Villa?
A loft on the beach, like the one I own.  

Pax: I’m not good at rhyming.  But this rhyme is short and to the point. And even though I’m cocky (yes, I admit it) I’m not as stuck on myself as this limerick indicates.  I’m just having fun.  This limerick writing thing is hard.  Lol.

If You Stay

24-year old Pax Tate is an asshole.  

Seriously. 

He’s a tattooed, rock-hard bad-boy with a bad attitude to match.  

But he’s got his reasons. 

His mother died when Pax was seven, leaving a hole in his heart filled with guilt although he doesn’t understand why.  What he does know is that he and his dad are left alone and with more issues than they can count. 

As Pax grew up, he tried to be the kid his father always wanted; the perfect golden boy, but it didn’t work.  His dad couldn’t overcome his grief long enough to notice and Pax couldn’t keep up the impossible perfect façade. 

So he slipped far, far from it. 

Now, he uses drugs and women to cope with the ugliness, the black void that he doesn’t want to deal with.  If he pretends that the emptiness isn’t there, then it isn’t, right? 

Wrong. 

And it’s never more apparent than when he meets Mila.  

Sweet, beautiful Mila Hill is the fresh air to his hardened frown, the beauty to his ugly heart.  He doesn’t know how to not hurt her, but he quickly realizes that he’s got to figure it out because he needs her to breathe.

When memories of his mother’s death resurface from where he’s repressed them for so long, Mila is there to catch him when the guilt starts making sense.  Mila is the one…the one who can save him from his broken troubled heart; from his issues, from the emptiness. 

But only if he can stop being an asshole long enough to allow it.  

He knows that.  And he’s working on it.  

But is that enough to make her stay?
