I was so excited when the final book of the Pleasure series by Lacey Thorn was recently released. I had to read SEALed For Pleasure because you see, there are three hot, sexy SEALs with the youngest Greyson sister, Mia, an erotic romance writer. Can I just say that Mia was a very LUCKY woman and I'm totally jealous? LOL!

Mia sees Mick again and his buddies Brent and Tris when they come home to relax for two weeks. She has a past history with Mick whom she's been avoiding since their first sexual encounter before he left to join the Navy. Mia encounters Brent first at the local bar and they seem to "hit" it off. She tries to shock him when she tells him she writes mostly menage stories from her imagination. He counters back by asking her to indulge in her fantasy with him, Mick and Tris. Hell yeah!!! These four characters had great chemistry and the sex was hot, hot, hot!

I enjoyed the close friendship the three guys had with each other and that there was no jealousy involved when it came to "sharing". Each guy brought something different to the relationship in Mia's eyes. I liked that Mia and Mick talked about their feelings and what happened in the past. It was nice to see a guy opening up and not afraid to express his feelings. That just makes him even sexier in my eyes. Brent and Tris added a bit of dominance and humor to this foursome and I could not get enough. This was such a fun and sexy short story and I only wished it was longer because I wanted more SEALs.

I was sad to see this series come to an end but I found out that the author has some ideas on how to keep this series alive with more stories. Yay!!! This news made me so happy and I will be impatiently waiting.

Casey Lu gets "Tangled" up with Emma Chase

Get Tangled with Emma Chase

Drew Evans is a winner. Handsome and arrogant, he makes multimillion dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. He has loyal friends and an indulgent family. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed?

He’ll tell you he has the flu.

But we all know that’s not really true.

Katherine Brooks is brilliant, beautiful and ambitious. She refuses to let anything - or anyone - derail her path to success. When Kate is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.

Then, just when Drew is on the cusp of having everything he wants, his overblown confidence threatens to ruin it all. Will he be able untangle his feelings of lust and tenderness, frustration and fulfillment? Will he rise to the most important challenge of his life?

Can Drew Evans win at love?

Tangled is not your mother’s romance novel. It is an outrageous, passionate, witty narrative about a man who knows a lot about women…just not as much as he thinks he knows. As he tells his story, Drew learns the one thing he never wanted in life, is the only thing he can’t live without

Tangled is one of those rare books that make you laugh so hard your insides literally hurt when you are done with it. This hilarious peek inside of a man’s brain is just freaking fabulous.  Drew Evans is that man that you want to slap on the back of the head, but also want to be in around him because he is tons of fun and good to look at.

This book kind of pulls a Quentin Tarantino. We start this book with Drew on the sofa faking the flu due to some serious heartbreak. He admits to his sister that he has finally fallen in love, but that his dream woman is marrying someone else. Then he proceeds to tell us his story of how he ended up on said couch. His tale of woe is full of his manly advice and quotes that will have you gasping for air as you read them. For example:

No man wants to fuck a skeleton-and nibbling crackers and water like a prisoner of war at dinner isn’t attractive. It just makes us think about what a cranky bitch you’re going to be later on because you’re starving. If a guy’s into you? A cheeseburger deluxe is not going to scare him away. And if he’s not? Ingesting all the greens on Petter Cottontail’s farm isn’t going to change that, trust me.

Kate Brooks really gives this self-proclaimed ladies’ man the run for his money. She is his kryptonite. From the moment he sees her, he is enchanted by her, and starts to change SOME of his bad boy ways.  I love the dynamic between them so much, and the fact that she doesn’t just fall at his feet like the women he is so used to. He really has to work for her love. Add in his wonderful niece Mackenzie who keeps everyone on their toes, and this book is a definite winner!!! This is an absolutely wonderful book!! Finding out that this is the author’s first book is quite the shook, but I can guarantee I will be reading her next one! I hope y’all enjoy it as much as I have!!!!  :)

Let's get Naughty with Mia Watts

An ARe (All Romance eBooks) Exclusive Book

Shades of Naughty
Mia Watts
 Sheik Down

He had everything—except for the one thing he wants…

A loner most of his life, Sheik Raid Faisal has the Royal pedigree, the lucrative jewelry business and billions of dollars at his disposal. What he doesn't have is Lucas Talstaad bound, bent and begging. That's about to change.

Lucas has been Raid's sole building contractor for the past seven years, and in love with him for half of them. Building BDSM furniture for the sheik has Lucas's cock in a bind—in more ways than one. He's never been submissive to anyone, but Raid presents a tempting offer. Sex and satisfaction, no-strings attached, suddenly gets messy when Lucas goes after Raid's unavailable heart.

OMG! I can't tell you how much I LOVED reading Sheik Down by Mia Watts. I was captivated after reading the first line and couldn't stop. This short story had all the elements I love in a romance book; in this case, two sexy dominant heroes, some BDSM and a resistant heart. If that wasn't enough, how about a sexy hero working in leather pants? Oh my!

I fell in love with Lucas Talstaad, the sexy blond construction worker right from the beginning. He knew what and who he wanted, which was Sheik Raid Faisal. The author did a great job depicting Lucas' feelings and desires in just a few pages and I could "see" and feel his yearning to be with Raid and not just for sex.

Raid was sexy and stubborn where his heart was concerned and I could not wait for Lucas to breach that wall and the BDSM playroom he hid behind. He couldn't deny his need for Lucas anymore so he decided he wanted Lucas to build a "playroom" in his home where Lucas would have a starring role as his "submissive". This is where leather pants and flaps come into play along with a cross and restraints. Wow! The sex scenes between them were hot, hot, hot!!! Will Lucas be the only submissive in this relationship or will the Dom finally submit outside of the playroom?

This short story packed a punch with its sizzling storyline, likeable heroes and smokin' hot sex scenes. I loved seeing these two characters together and my only wish was that it could have been longer.

Madeline Sheehan ~ Unbeautifully Tour

Madeline Sheehan does that name ring a bell? If not where have you been this year? She is one of the best new authors out there! Today we are part of her Blog Tour for book two in her Undeniable series.
I'm not even sure where to start with this book... all I can say is it was UNBELIEVABLE and I highly recommend it! Take a look for yourself..

Why choose "the uglier side of life" to write about?

It’s not that I “choose” to write about it. It just sort of happens that way. I guess my imagination has a forever dark side, but honestly, people like to glaze over the sick reality that surrounds us all and I never have. Sometimes life hurts, sometimes it rips you open, wrenches your heart from your body, throws it on the ground and squashes it. But I like to think there is nothing the human spirit can’t beat, no hole to deep to crawl out of.  Life is a series of events, both good and bad, but without the bad, there would be no good, it wouldn’t’ be worth it…

What do you think it is about this series that has the fans going so crazy?

I think aside from the never ending drama, because there is that, a lot of people can relate to hardship, the “real” aspect, no fluff, just life. It’s a nice change.

I'm a cover junkie, and your covers are gorgeous. How do you think this cover has added to your success and popularity?

HAHA. Well, I’ll be the first to admit my original covers sucked. And lets face it, the majority of the world judges a book by its cover.  Do I? No. But a lot of people do and I was lucky to have the wonderful team at Authors Angels snatch me up and show me the ropes, blog tours, covers and all!  Love those girls!

Warning: This is not a story about fate or destiny. This is a story about pain, sorrow, and suffering. This is an impulsive whirlwind romance between two lovers that are not meant to be together. Theirs is not a world with sunshine and roses. Instead, their love blossoms in a secret world full of crime, violence, and death. Their story is about what can be born from nightmares.

Danielle “Danny” West is the daughter of Deuce West, President of the Hell’s Horsemen Motorcycle Club. A sweet and beautiful girl, she loses her way, searching for things that are always out of her reach. Erik “Ripper” Jacobs is the Sergeant of Arms in the Hell’s Horsemen. Once a man who always had a smile on his face, his life takes a turn for the worst when a tragedy befalls him, leaving him scarred and broken. During a midsummer night, Danny and Ripper’s paths cross, forever changing their lives. Hastily, their lust turns to love until another tragedy forces them apart. On a journey that is marred with ugliness and chaos, Danny and Ripper must discover if their unforeseen connection can find the beauty in their world.

This is Danny and Ripper’s story.

Everything has beauty. Even the ugly.
Especially the ugly. Because without ugly, there would be no beauty.

The first time I fell in love it was with a pair of blue eyes and a wide dimpled grin.

“Your old man loves ya, Danny girl,” He whispered. “You never ever forget that, yeah?”

I never did. And I never thought I could ever love any man as much as I loved my father. But as we grow, we change, we begin to make our own decisions and thus become independent and self sufficient and start turning away from our parents and turning to others. We form friendships, strong bonds and ties and begin experiencing life outside of the bubble we grew up inside of.
And we fall in love…a second time.

The second time I fell in love it was with a badly scarred face, the stuff of nightmares; the sort of disfigurement that mothers steer their children away from. Ugly, jagged slashes marred the skin from the top of his skull, down over his right eye, an eye that had been dug out of his face with a serrated blade. The scars continued across his cheek, over his lips and down his neck, ending at the top of his shoulder. His chest was a hundred times worse; scar tissue as far as the eye could see.

“Baby,” He said gruffly, “Man like me got no business with a girl like you. You’re nothin’ but fuckin’ beauty and I’m a whole lot of fuckin’ ugly who’s already halfway to hell.”

But he was wrong.

Everything has beauty. Even the ugly. Especially the ugly.

Because without ugly there would be no beauty.

Because without beauty we would not survive our pain, our sorrow, and our suffering.

And in the world I lived in, the world he lived in, a secret world within the world, a world of of constant crime and cruel, cold, death, there was almost nothing but suffering.

“You may not be beautiful the way you were before,” I whispered, placing my hand on his hard chest. “But you’re still beautiful. To me.

Rajasthani Moon Excerpt Tour + Contest

      Rajasthani Moon by Lisabet Sarai

Neither kink nor curse can stop a woman with a mission.

Cecily Harrowsmith, secret agent extraordinaire, is a woman on a mission. When the remote Indian kingdom of Rajasthan refused to remit its taxes to the Empire, Her Majesty imposed an embargo. Deprived of the energy-rich mineral viridium, essential for modern technology and development, Rajasthan was expected to quickly give in and resume its payments. Yet after three years, the rebellious principality still has not knuckled under. Cecily undertakes the difficult journey to the rugged, arid land of the Rajputs to determine just how it has managed to survive, and if possible to convince the country to return to the Empire's embrace. Instead, she's taken captive by a brigand who turns out to be the ruler's half-brother Pratan and delivered into the hands of the sexy but sadistic Rajah Amir, who expertly mingles torture and delight in his interrogation of the voluptuous interloper.

Cursed before birth by Amir's jealous mother, Pratan changes to a ravening wolf whenever the moon is full. Cecily uncovers the counter-spell that can reverse the effects of the former queen's hex and tries to trade that information for her freedom. Drawn to the fierce wolf-man and sympathising with his suffering, she volunteers to serve as the sacrifice required by the ritual – offering her body to the beast. In return, the Rajah reveal Rajasthan's amazing secret source of energy. In the face of almost impossible odds, Cecily has accomplished the task entrusted to her by the Empire. But can she really bear to leave the virile half-brothers and their colourful land behind and return to constraints of her life in England?

Like a bolt of dark lightning, a shadowy form hurtled through the entrance and bore her slender body to the floor. Sarita’s shriek was cut short as the weight of her attacker drove the breath from her lungs.

A hulking, black-furred creature pinned the woman to the ground. He slashed her sari with brutal talons, until her clothing hung in shreds upon her nakedness, then clawed at her thighs. Blood streaked her ivory skin. A feral growl rose from the swarthy figure’s throat as his hairy back arched above Sarita’s fragile frame, hips pumping blindly. Cecily glimpsed vicious, yellowed teeth under an elongated snout and red-veined eyes that burnt with madness.

“Stop! No!” Cecily seized a handful of the monster’s tangled black hair and pulled as hard as she could, trying to drag him away from his victim. He shook her off like a dog ridding himself of fleas, so that she tumbled onto the floor beside them, then he returned his attention to the girl stretched beneath him.

Sarita whimpered in terror. The beast raked his claws across one breast, leaving a trail of red behind. His powerful buttocks flexed as he tried to impale the girl with his hugely swollen penis. The courtesan struggled beneath him, desperate to avoid that terrible weapon. He’d tear her apart if he succeeded in forcing that rod into her body.

All this happened in a matter of seconds, but to Cecily it seemed much longer. The sensation of temporal dilation was familiar from her martial arts practice. She considered her options with clarity and precision, every detail and nuance of the situation obvious to her heightened consciousness. If the beast was flesh and blood—as he certainly seemed to be, given that enormous erection—she could employ a Tibetan tserchok manoeuvre to temporarily disrupt his nerve function. On the other hand, she didn’t want to endanger Sarita. At the moment the creature appeared focused on sexual satisfaction, but if her blow fell even a millimetre off target, Pratan’s lust might change to murderous rage.

Somehow she had no doubt the beast was Pratan, transformed by the dead queen’s curse. Perhaps it was the lush, jet-coloured locks that tumbled down his back. Perhaps it was his wild ferocity as he attempted to fuck the woman trapped beneath him. In any case, that complicated matters. She needed to help poor Sarita, but she didn’t want to do permanent damage to the handsome brigand, if only to save her own skin. Amir would scarcely be sympathetic if she killed his brother.

She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts and come to a decision. As she moved, the silver ornaments dangling from her ears brushed her neck. Silver! Immediately Cecily recalled her hermeneutic studies, in particular the fact that silver was anathema to most shape-shifters. Of course, Pratan was a special case…but she did not have time to ponder the alternatives and the risks.

Drawing the silver wire from her pierced lobe, she rose to her knees. He still had not succeeded in penetrating Sarita, who rolled weakly back and forth while he stabbed his pelvis in the general direction of her slit. Gripping her shoulders, he tried to hold her still. His nostrils flared, drinking in the scent of his prey.

Slightly behind him, out of his direct line of sight, Cecily leant forward, considering where best to strike. His hard muscles would simply bend the thin needle of silver. Finally, taking a deep breath, she brought the bauble to his neck, just below his ear, and pricked the tender skin.

The beast that was Pratan roared and reared back on his haunches. His eyes were smouldering coals as he fixed them on Cecily’s face. He reached for her, jaws dripping, talons painted with Sarita’s blood. Cecily twisted away, aware that she was too close to escape.

Then, just as she was anticipating the pain of his fangs entering her flesh, Pratan slumped into an unconscious heap. For a moment he lay there, still and monstrous. Then he began to shift back to his human form. His distorted muzzle receded and his handsome features reappeared. His gnarled paws became hands. The black hair that had covered the beast melted away, leaving only the familiar curly patches on his chest and at his groin. His massive erection shrank to more human proportions, though his cock was still engorged.

The highwayman prince lay naked on the library floor, his eyes closed, his face peaceful and composed. He might as well have been sleeping. Indeed, it might all have been a dream, save for the bleeding, naked young woman stretched out beside him.

Book Length:
Ellora's Cave Publishing Inc.
Imprint: Romantica®
Line: Breathless
Series: On the Hunt

Emily Boysen is sick of low-level bounty hunting jobs that don’t pay her rent, and sick to death of her ex-boyfriend taking credit for her work. Ready to claim her due, she takes on the quarry of a lifetime, the notorious Fernando Bonavita. But instead of the fugitive, she captures his sexy younger brother, Javier.

Javier Bonavita never wanted to know the truth about his older brother’s activities, instead protecting him out of loyalty. When he uses his hacking skills to pose as Fernando, he never expects to uncover crimes he can’t stomach. Beautiful Emily has no idea how glad he is to be in her custody—as long as he’s her prisoner, he doesn’t have to face his brother.

Passion flares between Emily and Javier, and soon he’s putting the handcuffs on her. Suspicion grows along with their feelings, though. A sinister plot centers around Fernando, and untangling it will test their loyalties to the limit.

Javier’s smart phone buzzed in his pocket. He paused his video game and glanced at the screen. The vibration originated from the custom application he’d written to monitor the motion sensors he’d set up around the perimeter of his brother Fernando’s house. Returning his attention to his computer, Javier quit the game and pulled up a view of the exterior cameras.

A girl was crawling beneath Fernando’s hedge. Even with the cameras, Javier would never have seen her if the motion sensor hadn’t pinpointed her exact position. She held her body low, wore clothes that blended in perfectly with the hues of the yard’s greenery, and moved slowly enough that she wouldn’t attract the casual eye.

Game time.

Plans and strategies tumbled through Javier’s head, but he remained still for a moment, frozen by discomfort. No jilted lover Javier could imagine would act this way, approaching the house like a single-member SWAT team. He squinted at the grainy image of her. He supposed she was a woman, not a girl, but she was a slip of a thing. Her body seemed slight in comparison to the thick, tawny hair bound at the back of her head. Skin only a shade lighter than the hair peeked out of the camouflage clothes in a few places—Javier caught a glimpse of a light brown shoulder blade and the back of a thigh. He remained glued to the screen, fascinated by her strange grace. She didn’t seem like his brother’s type at all.

Javier cleared his throat, struggling again with suspicions he didn’t want to acknowledge. But what harm could it do to play along? That girl couldn’t hurt him, and more than anything he wanted to repay Fernando for all the years he’d looked out for his kid brother. It wouldn’t hurt to earn recognition as an adult in the process. Maybe if he could gain Fernando’s trust he’d be rewarded with true explanations instead of obvious fabrications like this one.

Javier glanced down at his clothes. He should really be dressed as Fernando, but hadn’t had the patience to wear suits when he didn’t have to. He frowned at the image on the screen. He’d locked all the doors and the ground-floor windows were sealed and made of shatter-resistant materials. He had a minute before he had to decide his next step with the girl.

He went to the closet, stripping off his T-shirt on the way and stepping out of his jeans. Fernando’s clothes hung a little loose on him—their bodies were close, but the tailored touches Fernando had added emphasized his thicker physique. Javier was slightly taller and slightly leaner. He found a pair of dark-gray pants that fell far enough down on the leg and looked okay in the mirror. Javier turned to the dress shirts and found himself confronted with a dizzying array of fits and colors. How did his brother deal with all this complication every morning? And why did he care so much?

Javier shook his head at himself and reached for the nearest one, only to freeze at the sound of Fernando’s upstairs bedroom window sliding open. Had the woman really climbed up here in a matter of minutes? She hadn’t been carrying any gear.

He shrugged on the shirt and stepped out of the closet, still buttoning it. She stood just inside the window, her stance wary and her eyes on the computer screen. Handcuffs and restraints swung from the belt loops of army-green short-shorts. Her gaze flicked toward him, her blue eyes large and bright against the sandy backdrop of her face. She wore no makeup, but a generous scattering of freckles added plenty of interesting color and shape to her features. A smile spread over Javier’s face before he could think the situation through.

The interloper scowled in response, producing a can of mace. “You think this is funny, Bonavita?”

Javier held up his hands quickly. He didn’t want to get sprayed. But he couldn’t back down completely or the game would be up before it had even begun. He imitated the cool confidence his brother always possessed. “You wanted to see me so badly you couldn’t knock?”

Her frown deepened. “You watched me approach the house on video monitors, and decided to…change your clothes?”

“Couldn’t let you think I didn’t care about our date.”

She glanced at the monitors and shook her head, her lips forming the word “stupid.” Javier cocked his head, but before he could ask she brandished the mace more fiercely. “Take whatever weapons you’ve got and put them on the floor.”

“What you see is what I’ve got.”

“Yeah, I’m going to believe that.”

Javier shrugged. “If you want to strip-search me, I won’t stop you.”

She rolled her eyes. “Pig.”

“Then I guess we’re going to stand here all day.”

The woman sighed and set down the can of mace. Javier’s body relaxed, but before he had a chance to enjoy it he was on the floor, the woman on top of him. She couldn’t have weighed much, but she knew how to make her body heavy. Her legs wrapped his thighs in an intimate hold that kept him immobilized, and the blade of her forearm wedged under his chin threatened his windpipe.

Javier gasped from the shock of his back crashing to Fernando’s hardwood floor, but recovered as quickly as he could. “Beds are much more comfortable.”

“In your dreams, Bonavita.”

Moving with practiced confidence, she rolled Javier onto his side without relaxing the strength of her hold. She snapped a set of handcuffs around his wrists.

“Whoa, whoa. Baby, let’s talk about this.”

“Very funny. Like you don’t know why I’m here.” A light layer of sweat had appeared along her neck. She smelled wild and powerful, like leaves, salt and sun. Javier knew he should be more concerned about himself, but he couldn’t get his mind off the idea of her lying on top of him for an entirely different reason.

She returned Javier to his back, the position forcing his cuffed hands to dig in to his spine. He curled up to remove the pressure, but a sharply placed knee to his chest forced him back down and pinned him. “Woman, you are serious.”

“Are you just figuring that out?” Her hands slid inside his shirt. For one delicious moment, Javier’s eyelids fell shut and he shivered at her touch. She stopped moving and he opened his eyes slowly to confront her solemn stare. “You are enjoying this way too much,” she said.

If his hands had been free, Javier would have tried to enjoy it a lot more. He’d forgotten how it felt to roll around with a woman, forgotten the sensation of soft, warm flesh against his own. Sure, the situation clearly meant serious trouble for Fernando, but Fernando wasn’t here, was he? Javier felt wild and invincible. He grinned up at the woman. “How could I not? Look at you.”

She glared, but her cheeks turned rosy, bringing out a clearer view of her abundant freckles. “Wonderful. The first man to be stunned by my good looks happens to be the most dangerous quarry I’ve had in years.”

Annabeth Leong has written erotica of many flavors. She loves shoes, stockings, cooking and excellent bass lines. She always keeps a new e-book loaded on her phone and a paperback stashed in her purse, but her eyes are still bigger than her stomach whenever she visits a bookseller.
