Jeff Maddox has always looked after his l’il sister and when he sees her finally starting to get her life in order he is happy for her with one exception, she is sleeping with a married man. He sees his chance to butt in and be the big brother when said boyfriend leaves his phone at his sister Daisy's house and the wife calls. Jeff intervenes a text from the wife and tells her to meet him so she can pick up the phone. Once Jeff and Kayrn meet he can't seem to get her off his mind. So bad so that hours after they parted he is still thinking of her and decides what the hell and sends her a text a very "Hot Text".
Jeff Maddox is a bit of a book worm, well he has to be for his job as an Tecnical editor. He doesn't date much and has been-there-done-that with marriage and isn't looking for anything or anyone new. Although after meeting his sister’s boyfriend’s wife, he thinks he might have found someone that might be fun to help occupy his time.
Kayrn Alison is a school teacher with a strong love for paining outside of the lines. She has recently separated from her cheater of a husband and is a bit unsure how to feel about it- happy, relieved, sad, what?? That is until she receives a strange text from a man she just met. Once the texts started so did her heart and libido.
Needless to say this a very Hot story! You get a bit of it all from this new release by Cari Quinn, hot dirty talk, painting lessons adult style, sexting, and some scorching hot love scenes with depth and some fun humor. These two characters are perfect for each other and are very likable, I think a lot of people will identify with at least one—if not both—of the main characters and I love a book where I can see a bit of myself in a character.
From my first read of Cari Quinn's (Bad Kitty) I have been a fan and now after this... Her humor, characters, twists, and amazing sex scenes have hooked me…She is an auto-buy!
