I want to start out and say that Behave is not a romance.  We don't get a definite hero to root for in this tale.  This is a voyeur’s playland. Our heroine, Rachel, is crass, blunt, and utterly obsessed with sex.  She doesn't come off as real likeable to start out, but I think that is more or less me getting used to her humor.  Or maybe the author wants us to enjoy her sexy torment?

Since I told you this is erotica, I will tell you...it gets the job done.  This book grabs hold of your libido and shakes it until your teeth rattle.  I loved watching Rachel squirm under our main man Wes's torture. The woman obviously has beer flavored nipples, or is really really hot, because she has men tripping over their tongues to get at her.  We get three different partners in 20,000 words! Like usually happens with really beautiful people, it is the one Rachel can't have that she can't get out of her head.  Between Wes's late night break ins, his naughty phone conversations, and his orgasmic public caresses, this man is a ball of sex.  And Rachel is a cat batting at the strings that ball of sex is dangling just out of her reach.

There are no promises of anything but a good time between these two, and our main conflict comes not from Wes, but from Rachel herself and her struggle to just enjoy herself as a sexual being.  If you are looking to live the life of a wild woman who has the one night stand down to an art form, and enjoy a decadent man in a decadent environment, with no talk of children, responsibility, or future, this is the way to go.  This erotic tale tells a story, and damn...I was panting for more. 4 stars.

This year at RT12 we actually got to meet in person and spend a little time together (LOVED meeting her). Hi!

I'm Mrs. Missive, but you can call me Mrs. I got my first Kindle ereader in 2009. I somehow convinced my husband that I would unearth our home from the piles of books I was collecting. Heh. My bookshelf is groaning that that big ol' lie.

I have always read romance novels, but then I read a little story called Babysitting the Baumgartners by Selena Kitt. Well, lets just say, after that bit of hormone electrocution, I jumped on the Erotic Romance train and haven't looked back since. I started a little group on Goodreads after a bunch of like-minded folks agreed we needed to jump the Amazon forum ship and deflect somewhere else. Kindle Smut was started, and through the amazing ladies there, Mrs. Missive, the Supersmut Siren was born. She's my alter-ego, who is desperately trying to take over.

I have traveled to places I wouldn't have, and met some fantastic people, authors included, through cyberspace, and it's all due to Erotic Romance. I started reviewing last year to basically keep track of what I read. I mean...let's be honest, how many of you have bought the same book multiple times? It's even worse when you realize it was one you hated!

I like to laugh, and I love to see humor coming through in the authors I read. My all time favorite, fangirl squeal-inducing authors are Sophie Oak and Mary Hughes. These women have inspired me and kept me sane through their writing. They help me escape reality. I am always in search of the next author to inspire me to attack my husband for a mid-afternoon boink in the laundry room. So I love reading new and undiscovered authors. I hope I can bring a smile to your face through a review, and introduce you to someone who will make you squeal too.

Kade Jamenson closed his eyes and prayed for resolution. A piercing shriek startled him, making him jump to his feet.

Finn.

Finn. His eleven-month-old son, who wouldn’t stop screaming, no matter what they did. The kid always needed something, either to be fed, changed, held, burped, played with, or just stared at. It seemed never ending. Even now that he was older, he still screamed or babbled constantly.

Dear God. How the hell did humans do this? Kade had more endurance than any human, witch, and most werewolves out there. Yet a tiny fifteen-pound baby with big blue eyes took every ounce of strength he possessed. Not to mention sleep time.

Kade groaned and rolled his neck before he walked into his son’s room. He and Melanie had painted the room in a soft green to match the Jameson eyes and added cream borders to break it up. Dark wood furniture filled the room along with cream linens covered with frog princes and bumblebees. Stuffed animals of every sort covered the tops of most pieces of furniture, gifts from his Pack and family, who cherished Finn like their own son. He took another step in and realized he hadn’t been the first one to answer his son’s call.

Wowza Wednesday - Corsets

Okay this is a post dedicated to my bestie Lola. Lola and I met 19 years ago this week when are hubbys sent us out shopping together - they quickly decided that was a seriously bad bad bad idea- lol. Well even though we are separated by a 4 hour drive and hundreds of mile it hasn't stopped us from shopping together. Just this weekend we did a online shopping spree looking for corsets. So in honor of that today's WOWZA will be gorgeous women in corsets :)
