Review –

I was excited beyond description when I received an advanced copy of Laura Hunsaker’s Highlander Reborn.  I hurried through my nightly routine to curl up with it and then took much longer than normal breaks at work today.  If not for my Kindle battery needing charging, I probably would clocked out much later than normal.  Yes, it’s THAT good!

Hot Highlander turned vampire + patient and seductive Queen of the seethe = a sexy page turner you just can’t put down.  I’d describe the initial tension between Nevin and Amalia as loathsome, though it quickly transformed to lust. With their histories (for the most part) cast aside, they must overcome her own seethe feeling threatened by Nevin’s mere presence, as well as determine who’s responsible for the recent Nightkind killings.  I was surprised how much Laura Hunsaker was able to pack into this short story, it was seductively enticing, and she left me wanting for only one thing (except for a story about Sebastian next, pleeease)!  

I loved it...full of face-fanning sex scenes, action, and quite a few laugh out loud moments.
